Trip description
Enjoy a nice shady and gentle hike that's perfect for a warm summer day. Located just off Highway 20 near Rockport in Skagit County, the trails here wind through old-growth forests with just enough elevation gain for a decent workout. Crowds of people jam the other North Cascades trails that have the 5-star views, but you can savor the peace and calm of this majestic forest without having to step aside every 2 minutes to let others rush past. Here, the journey is the destination.

To cancel from a trip, contact Andy via email or text. Cancellations more than two weeks before a trip receive a full refund minus a $15 fee. Cancellations more than 3 days but less than 2 weeks before the trip receive a 50% refund. Sorry, no refund on cancellations 3 days or less before the trip. Some trips may be changed with short notice due to unforeseen conditions. You're encouraged to go along with the alternate plan, but are entitled to a full refund if you opt out.
