Trip description
Here's one of the premier trails in the Mount Baker Wilderness, a scenic delight to a jewel of a lake sitting right under the hanging glaciers of Mt Shuksan. The views begin before we even reach the trailhead, close to the Artist Point area on the Mt. Baker Highway. The trail descends through forest into a meadow-filled valley before climbing over a small pass where the lake is finally revealed. Note that the elevation gain includes about 900 feet on the way in, and 900 feet coming out.

To cancel from a trip, contact Andy via email or text. Cancellations more than two weeks before a trip receive a full refund minus a $15 fee. Cancellations more than 3 days but less than 2 weeks before the trip receive a 50% refund. Sorry, no refund on cancellations 3 days or less before the trip. Some trips may be changed with short notice due to unforeseen conditions. You're encouraged to go along with the alternate plan, but are entitled to a full refund if you opt out.
