Hike 6/4 Anderson Lake State Park
5 miles, 400 feet elevation gain.
Trip description
Discover another of our fine Washington State Parks as we explore the trails in this forested oasis near Port Townsend. We'll ferry over to the Olympic Peninsula, stop at the BKB, and then head for this park, which is centered around a 70-acre lake. Trails radiate out in the surrounding forests and wetlands, giving many options for exploration. It's a great spot for seeing birds, wildflowers, and plenty of lush forest, and is a quiet haven even in the "busy" season. Trip cost includes ferry fares.
