Trip description

Join us for a special 3-day, 2-night trip to explore some great day hikes on the beaches and in the rainforests of Olympic National Park. You'll go on hikes to Cape Flattery, Rialto Beach, Second Beach, the Hoh Rainforest and more. See the spectacular coastal scenery, watch for birds and other wildlife, witness the grandeur of the ancient forests, and learn about the history and culture of the coastal tribes who still call this area home. Hikes will generally be on the easy-to-moderate level, with options to shorten or lengthen your mileage as you see fit. Overnight accommodations will be at the comfortable Pacific Inn Motel in Forks. Trip cost includes lodging, ferries, park permit fees, and admission to the Makah Museum in Neah Bay. Participants will be responsible for their own food and meals while in Forks and on the hikes. More details will be furnished as we get closer to the trip dates. Register at the rate for a shared room or a private room. Note that I will try to accommodate those wishing to purchase a private room, subject to availability at the motel. Cancellation policy: Any cancellation before Sept. 4 receives full refund minus $50. This will also apply to any cancellations after then if I can refill your spot. Cancellations after Sept. 4 that cannot be refilled will receive a 60% refund.

From 495 US dollars
