The concrete foundation at left is what remains from a 700-foot-long bridge that crossed over the Chuckanut Creek canyon
Chuckanut Creek was crossed on a nice sturdy foot bridge
Chuckanut Creek, similar to Padden Creek that we saw later, sees salmon runs each year in late summer and fall
Padden Creek saw a recent restoration project that improved the passage for salmon and other fish
