Walk 1/1 Northern State Recreation Area
Wide, well-built trail and excellent signage are typical of the quality walking experience offered here.


The trailhead area off Highway 20 just east of Sedro-Woolley includes the veterans plaza and its excellent displays and memorials


A few of the old farm buildings that were run by the hospital. With over 2500 people (patients +staff), the place was a self-sustaining community.
