Walking along the narrow Semiahmoo Spit


It was a gray, blustery morning here, but sunny skies soon took hold


Looking across Semiahmoo Bay toward the Peace Arch at the US/Canada border


High-rises stood out in nearby White Rock, BC


Much of the walk on Semiahmoo Spit was in view of the salt water


Great Blue Heron feeding just off-shore


Point Roberts can be seen in the middle distance


Skies were mostly sunny by noon


The well-built trail through the forest at Point Whitehorn Preserve


Trail overlook peeks out at the Strait of Georgia


We roamed the rocky beach a bit




Sea Anemone clinging to beach boulders


Fine detail found in the barnacles on a rock


Unique trunk of a maple tree just above the beach
