Hike 5/7/ Mountain Home Ridge - Leavenworth
The Chelan Douglas Land Trust has worked to protect several trails that we enjoy in the Leavenworth and Wenatchee areas.
Lupine were profuse in the forest openings
Balsamroot were putting on their usual bright color show
From one vista point, we could see far off into the Glacier Peak Wilderness northwest of Leavenworth
There had been extensive area of prescribed burns here recently, to help forest health
