Hike 3/31 Cherry Creek Falls
Hiking along an old logging road in second-growth forest

Later, the road narrowed to just a trail, and the trees were older

Wading across the creek just before reaching the falls

I loaned out my overboots, which worked great for keeping feet dry and warmer

Nice partly sunny conditions at the falls

Cherry Creek runs for just a few miles, starting in the foothills and flowing to the Snoqualmie River

The falls sometimes flow in two sections, sometimes three, and sometimes are rather small

A close-up view from the base of the falls

Explored different vantage points

From above the falls

When you have some extra shoes, and it's not too cold outside, you can wade right out there
