Hike 10/3 Klahhane Ridge- Olympic National Park
We hiked the Switchback Trail, so named for the 27 switchbacks you ascend on the 1600-foot climb to the ridge

Mount Olympus and the center of the Olympic range was out in all its glory

Reaching the crest of Klahhane Ridge, greeted by a deck of low clouds to the north

Roaming along the ridge at over 6000 feet

Mount Angeles, with its characteristic layers of rock

Panning the horizon from the top

Clouds creep around the corner of Rocky Peak

Mount Baker in view in the distance, 90+ miles away

Checking out the trail as it drops toward Lake Angeles

At our turnaround point, surveying the high country

A ribbon of pavement winding through the forest below
