Hike 1/24 Mount Walker
Start of Mt. Walker Trail. There were about 12 cars there when we arrived, and double that when we returned.

Trail is excellent! Dry, fairly smooth, no obstacles whatsoever--but steep

After 2 miles hiking, we reached the north viewpoint, with views out toward Mt. Baker

Baker at left, and Mt. Shuksan to the right, seen from the north viewpoint.

The Olympics were also visible from the north viewpoint.

Mt. Constance, 3rd tallest peak on the peninsula.

Mt. Townsend

Close-up of Baker

Now at the south viewpoint, 1/2 mile from the north one, looking out over Hood Canal

Rainier rising above the hazy Puget Sound

Approaching the south viewpoint. There were close to 30 people up there!

Broad view of Hood Canal, the south sound, and Rainier from the south viewpoint

Lovely forest hiking on the way down
