Walk 7/6 Sounder Train to Mariners Game
2 miles, 100 feet elevation gain.
Trip description
Whether you're a baseball fan or not, this is a fun experience that makes for a great summer day out. The Sounder Train runs from Everett Station to King Street Station in Seattle for Mariners games on Sunday afternoons. It's a gorgeous train ride along the Puget Sound shoreline most of the way down there. We then walk about 3/4 mile to T-Mobile Park, and find our seats in section 327 (some stairs to climb / view shown in thumbnail picture). There's a great view of the field and the city skyline, and you should be in the shade most of the day (not roasting in direct sunshine). Once the game ends, the train departs 45 minutes later, which is ample time to return to the station. Your trip price covers your train tickets, game tickets, and fees. Any purchases you make at the ballpark are not included, and note that the park does not take cash (cards only). Also, there are rules on what you can carry in. Notably, backpacks are NOT allowed. See all rules at https://www.mlb.com/mariners/ballpark/gate-bag-policy-faq
