Trip description
This 700-acre Skagit County Parks property in the countryside near Sedro Woolley is home to some nice walking amidst forests, farmland, open pasture, and wetlands. You'll have nice views of some Cascades foothills rising across the Skagit Valley, and will likely see scores of wildflowers in bloom too. Another interesting attraction here is a ghost town of sorts, that being the abandoned buildings of the former state mental hospital that operated until 1976. We'll explore some of the history, and enjoy the natural beauty, as we stroll around the recreation area's gentle old roads and trails.

To cancel from a trip, contact Andy via email or text. Cancellations more than two weeks before a trip receive a full refund minus a $15 fee. Cancellations more than 3 days but less than 2 weeks before the trip receive a 50% refund. Sorry, no refund on cancellations 3 days or less before the trip. Some trips may be changed with short notice due to unforeseen conditions. You're encouraged to go along with the alternate plan, but are entitled to a full refund if you opt out.
