Trip description
Take a walk along Tacoma's beautiful, revitalized Commencement Bay waterfront. If you haven't explored here in the last few years, I know you'll be impressed. We'll walk paved paths along Ruston Way, passing park lands as well as businesses and residential buildings. Views across the water to Mt. Rainier and the Cascades are nearly non-stop, and the climax of the walk is at the new Dune Peninsula, part of Point Defiance Park. Certainly a first-rate city walk. And yes, we will make a lunch stop before coming home, at Katie Downs Waterfront Tavern.

Cancellations more than 3 days but less than 2 weeks before the trip receive a 50% refund. Sorry, no refund on cancellations 3 days or less before the trip. Some trips may be changed with short notice due to unforeseen conditions. You're encouraged to go along with the alternate plan, but are entitled to a full refund if you opt out.
