Trip description
Come discover this first-rate state park near Olympia that features an extensive trail system with stately old growth forests, boardwalk trails across wetlands, and a stretch alongside a peaceful lake. This is one of Washington's oldest state parks (designated in 1924) and has many structures built by the CCC in the 1930's. We'll walk a meandering loop on well-maintained trails and gated roads that will cover all of the park's best features. Most of the terrain is fairly flat with a few small hills.

To cancel from a trip, contact Andy via email or text. Cancellations more than two weeks before a trip receive a full refund minus a $15 fee. Cancellations more than 3 days but less than 2 weeks before the trip receive a 50% refund. Sorry, no refund on cancellations 3 days or less before the trip. Some trips may be changed with short notice due to unforeseen conditions. You're encouraged to go along with the alternate plan, but are entitled to a full refund if you opt out.
