Snowshoe 3/29 Heather Meadows-Bagley Lks

2 miles, 300 feet elevation gain.

Trip description

What's it like to walk on top of 15 feet of snow? You can find out here near Mount Baker, where the Northwest's deepest snowpack is commonly found. We'll romp through the powder on a relaxed-pace, low difficulty route in the open meadows near the ski area. The scenery here is unsurpassed when the weather is clear, and when it's stormy, it's equally impressive as you feel the power of nature. Remember to go to the "Snowshoe Rental" listing if you need to reserve a set of snowshoes and poles.
