Snowshoe 3/19 Very Easy Snowshoe Tour

1 - 3 miles, minimal elevation gain.

Trip description

Take it nice and easy on this short and very gentle snowshoe walk as we head to the Hyak Sno-Park near Snoqualmie Pass. The Iron Horse Trail near Lake Keechelus is on the route of the former Milwaukee Road Railroad, and is wide and level. This is designed for people who are apprehensive about the longer snowshoe tours, and just want to get out for a bite-sized taste of winter in the Cascades. I'll help you put on your snowshoes and guide the way. After about 90 minutes on the snow, we'll return to the van and head for lunch together at the Summit Pancake House. NOTE: If you need to rent snowshoes, book those separately. You'll find a listing for Snowshoe Rental at the beginning of the list of snowshoe trips.

70 US dollars
Meet at Everett Station Park & Ride Lot B, look for large white passenger van.
