Trip description
If you're up for a good workout with some great views from a 6300-foot summit not far from Mt. Rainier, here's your trip. Kahuna is the unofficial name for a ridge high point a few miles north of the Crystal Mountain ski resort. We take the Norse Peak Trail from the 4000-foot trailhead, following good trail that switchbacks up the snowy mountainside. It's a steady climb with nothing particularly difficult, climaxing at the gentle summit with 360 degree views. Remember to go to the "Snowshoe Rental" listing if you need to reserve a set of snowshoes and poles.

To cancel from a trip, contact Andy via email or text. Cancellations more than two weeks before a trip receive a full refund minus a $5 fee. Cancellations more than 3 days but less than 2 weeks before the trip receive a 50% refund. Sorry, no refund on cancellations 3 days or less before the trip. Some trips may be changed with short notice due to unforeseen conditions. You're encouraged to go along with the alternate plan, but are entitled to a full refund if you opt out.
