Trip description
Whiteface is the unofficial name of a 5500-foot summit near Lake Valhalla in the area just east of Stevens Pass. It can be climbed via a route from the Yodelin parking area that is a good challenge, but not especially steep or difficult. If you can handle a hike of 2000-3000 feet gain, you can handle this. The route intersects the Pacific Crest Trail, and ascends through forest and small meadows to a high point with views of Glacier Peak, Lichtenberg Mountain, Mt. Daniel, and lots more. We'll start early to beat the ski area rush, and on the way home, we'll celebrate a successful trip by stopping at Maggie's Family Mexican Restaurant in Gold Bar.

To cancel from a trip, contact Andy via email or text. Cancellations more than two weeks before a trip receive a full refund minus a $15 fee. Cancellations more than 3 days but less than 2 weeks before the trip receive a 50% refund. Sorry, no refund on cancellations 3 days or less before the trip. Some trips may be changed with short notice due to unforeseen conditions. You're encouraged to go along with the alternate plan, but are entitled to a full refund if you opt out.
