Snowshoe a gentle, mostly-road route alongside a large reservoir in the central Cascades east of Snoqualmie Pass. The open shoreline provides lots of great views of the lake and its surrounding peaks. Unlike other tours along the I-90 corridor, we'll be well away from the freeway noise and will be able to enjoy the quiet sounds of nature. Our destination is the Kachess Campground, popular with campers in the summer, but snow-covered and silent in the winter. Be sure to book a snowshoe rental if you need to borrow snowshoes and poles from me.
