Hike 9/21 Upper Dungeness River

Sorry, this trip is full. Contact Andy to be added to the waiting list

6.5 miles, 600 feet elevation gain.

Trip description

Cruise along a wilderness river on a delightful trail in the rain shadow corner of the Olympics near Sequim. The well-maintained trail rises very gradually, always within sight and sound of the crystal-clear waters of the Dungeness. The forests here are tall and majestic, and there's a handy trail shelter at the turn-around point, called Camp Handy. Craig Romano called it quite possibly the easiest miles of wilderness trail in the Olympics. The trip fee includes the ferry cost.

  • 90 US dollars
  • Meet at Everett Station Park & Ride Lot A. Look for large white passenger van.
