Hike 8/28 Spider Meadows
10 miles, 1,400 feet elevation gain.
Trip description
Whether you have eight legs or only two, you're sure to love this magical spot that's on many hiker's short list of favorite northwest trails. This huge meadow deep in the Glacier Peak Wilderness is known for its fields of flowers set beneath lovely peaks, glaciers and waterfalls. The drive to the trailhead is long, and the last 14 miles are a bumpy gravel road, but the trail is excellent, and the elevation gain is gradual, making the miles go a little easier than you'd expect.
