Hike 8/24 Church Mountain
8.5 miles, 3700 feet elevation gain.
Trip description
If you're up for some serious elevation gain, Church Mountain will reward you with some of the best views in the entire Mount Baker region (and that's saying something!). This is an excellent, well-built trail that climbs steadily from mature forests to wide green meadows and climaxing at a rocky precipice with 360 degree views. Baker, Shuksan, the Border Peaks, and many Canadian summits can all be seen from the top. Note that the open meadows (and views) start after about 2500 feet of elevation gain, so you'll want to be able to go at least that far.

Cancellation Policy
To cancel from a trip, contact Andy via email or text. Cancellations more than two weeks before a trip receive a full refund minus a $15 fee. Cancellations more than 3 days but less than 2 weeks before the trip receive a 50% refund. Sorry, no refund on cancellations 3 days or less before the trip. Some trips may be changed with short notice due to unforeseen conditions. You're encouraged to go along with the alternate plan, but are entitled to a full refund if you opt out.
