Hike 7/4 Guemes Mtn Sunset & Fireworks

Trip description
Take an evening hike up the relatively short trail to the highest point on Guemes Island. Take in the sunset, hike down, and before ferrying back to Anacortes, take in that city's fireworks show over the waters of Fidalgo Bay. It's a unique way to celebrate the 4th! Guemes is actually never too crowded, and is a great place to go on the holiday. This peaceful, serene island is reached by a small county ferry that runs regularly from downtown Anacortes (no long wait!). Registration includes ferry cost. For dinner, we'll stop at The Market in Anacortes, purchase some deli items (not included in trip cost), take them to a nearby park and dine outside. Note that the return time will likely be after midnight.

Cancellation Policy
To cancel from a trip, contact Andy via email or text. Cancellations more than two weeks before a trip receive a full refund minus a $15 fee. Cancellations more than 3 days but less than 2 weeks before the trip receive a 50% refund. Sorry, no refund on cancellations 3 days or less before the trip. Some trips may be changed with short notice due to unforeseen conditions. You're encouraged to go along with the alternate plan, but are entitled to a full refund if you opt out.
