Hike 7/27 Boundary Trail -Mt. St. Helens
5 - 9 miles, 900 - 1,900 feet elevation gain.
Trip description
Get some up close views of the iconic volcano as we hike the western portion of the Boundary Trail, beginning from the Hummocks Trailhead on the Spirit Lake Highway. The trail goes for many miles, so it's a "go as far as you want"-type of hike. Marvel at the views and the changes taking place as the land continues its recovery from the 1980 eruption. Wildflowers should be dazzling too. Note that the Johnston Ridge Observatory is still inaccessible via the highway, but by going the full distance, hikers can reach it via this trail.

To cancel from a trip, contact Andy via email or text. Cancellations more than two weeks before a trip receive a full refund minus a $15 fee. Cancellations more than 3 days but less than 2 weeks before the trip receive a 50% refund. Sorry, no refund on cancellations 3 days or less before the trip. Some trips may be changed with short notice due to unforeseen conditions. You're encouraged to go along with the alternate plan, but are entitled to a full refund if you opt out.
