Trip description
This is the little-known "back way" into the Park Butte area near Mount Baker. WTA has held many work parties here in recent years, and the trail is in better shape now than it has been for decades. The trailhead is off the beaten path on a forest road out of Acme, so it provides a far less busy way to access the meadows of Mazama Park. A rustic old trail shelter is found here too. Expect some possibly rough or steep sections at times, and also expect a nice variety of wildflowers, plus views of Baker and the Twin Sister Range.

To cancel from a trip, contact Andy via email or text. Cancellations more than two weeks before a trip receive a full refund minus a $15 fee. Cancellations more than 3 days but less than 2 weeks before the trip receive a 50% refund. Sorry, no refund on cancellations 3 days or less before the trip. Some trips may be changed with short notice due to unforeseen conditions. You're encouraged to go along with the alternate plan, but are entitled to a full refund if you opt out.
