Hike 6/23 Martin Cr. / Kelley Cr. Falls

4 - 5 miles, 600 - 1000 feet elevation gain.

Trip description

Here's a trail not far from Stevens Pass with beautiful old growth forest, a pair of tumbling creeks, an interesting history, a 60-foot waterfall, and NO crowds. This hidden gem is next to the Iron Goat Trail, taking off where the long-ago spiral train trestle once stood. It climbs up the valley of Martin Creek, eventually reaching the Kelley Creek tributary. The trail is intermittently maintained, so expect a few obstacles, but generally the trail is decent for 2 miles, and 600 feet gain. We'll take a lunch break at that point, then an optional continuation another half mile and 400 feet up reaches Kelley Creek Falls.

  • 75 US dollars
  • Meet at Everett Station Park & Ride Lot A, look for large white passenger van.
