Hike 11/16 Chanterelle Connector Loop

Trip description
Here's an opportunity to get in a good November workout and explore some newly-built trails. The Chanterelle Connector Trail, completed in 2023, makes it possible to do a lengthy loop route entirely within Lake Whatcom Park outside Bellingham. The route features well-built, nicely-graded trails, several scenic overlooks, and lots of nice forest hiking. There are lots of switchbacks to make the miles go easier, and the final 2 miles follows the shore of Lake Whatcom on the wide, level Hertz Trail.

Cancellation Policy
To cancel from a trip, contact Andy via email or text. Effective with trips beginning in November 2024, cancellations more than two weeks before a trip receive a full refund minus a $15 fee. Cancellations more than 3 days but less than 2 weeks before the trip receive a 50% refund. Sorry, no refund on cancellations 3 days or less before the trip. Some trips may be changed with short notice due to unforeseen conditions. You're encouraged to go along with the alternate plan, but are entitled to a full refund if you opt out.
