Trip description
ALTERNATE FOR WALT BAILEY TRAIL / CUTTHROAT LAKES. You don't have to be an expert in Greek mythology to enjoy this hike, but you will have to have strong legs. To reach the gorgeous setting at Minotaur Lake, you'll climb nearly 1800 feet in 1.5 miles. Rest your aching muscles at the lake, or continue on 800 feet higher to the top of Labyrinth Mountain for the grand 360 degree views. The route to Labyrinth can involve some light scrambling, but it is not considered exposed or difficult. When the skies are clear, this is one of the best viewpoints in the Stevens Pass region.

To cancel from a trip, contact Andy via email or text. Effective with trips beginning in November 2024, cancellations more than two weeks before a trip receive a full refund minus a $15 fee. Cancellations more than 3 days but less than 2 weeks before the trip receive a 50% refund. Sorry, no refund on cancellations 3 days or less before the trip. Some trips may be changed with short notice due to unforeseen conditions. You're encouraged to go along with the alternate plan, but are entitled to a full refund if you opt out.
