Hike 10/23 Kendall Katwalk

11 miles, 2,500 feet gain

Trip description

Come experience one of the more famous (or notorious?) sections of the Pacific Crest Trail in Washington. Located near Kendall Peak in the Snoqualmie Pass region, the Katwalk is a narrow ledge of trail blasted in a steep rocky slope above a perilous drop-off. Along the way there, you get to view some great fall colors, deep green forests, and probably some touches of the first high-country snows of the season. The Crest Trail is well-maintained and moderately-graded, making the miles pass by more easily.
