Bike 9/1 Olympic Discovery Trail

Sorry, this trip is full. Contact Andy to be added to the waiting list

up to 28 miles, 400 feet elevation gain.

Trip description

Ride the premier bike trail on the Olympic Peninsula. The ODT runs for 135 miles from Port Townsend all the way to the Pacific Coast at La Push. Many sections make outstanding one-day rides, and we'll be doing one of the nicest. Beginning near the community of Blyn, east of Sequim, there's an all-paved route that concludes on the Port Angeles waterfront. The terrain is gentle, with a few mild hills at times, crossing the prairie lands of the rain shadow country near Sequim, and eventually reaching the shores of the Strait of Juan de Fuca for the last few miles. Ride the entire 28 miles, or any portion of it. My van will be your support vehicle, and will be available to you at several points along the route. Any bike in good working condition can do the ride. Bring helmet, spare inner tube, and a few tools. Trip price includes the cost of the ferry.

  • 95 US dollars
  • Meet at Everett Station Park & Ride Lot A. Look for large white passenger van.
