Beargrass were blooming all along the trail


These vivid pink penstemon were a bright spot on a gray day


Lookout comes into view


This cabin was built in the 1950's, and was restored by the Snoqualmie Fire Lookouts Association about 15 years ago


A volunteer from the lookout association allowed us to have a quick look around before she went off duty


Nice plaque in the lookout


Not much to see at the lookout though


Rainier would not be in view today


Clouds lifted slightly as we descended the trail
