As another ferry pulls out of the Orcas terminal, we approach
Cormorant perched on the ferry slip
Beautifully-maintained trails on the Turtleback Mountain Preserve.
So many fascinating trees along the trail
Views grew as we climbed higher
Looking out to the west from a few hundred feet up
Looking down at the harbor at West Sound on Orcas
The whole gang on top on Ship Peak, elevation 931 feet.

Long-distance views from the top of Mount Constitution in the evening. If you have to wait 5 hours for a ferry, this is a good place to go!
