Eventually made it to the Thunder Creek Trailhead

Trail was in great shape, and we met the trail crew that was going in to do further trail clean-up.

This is one of the mossiest trails you'll ever see. Blankets of stair-step moss covered almost everything.

Huge Doug Fir along the trail

Lush and green

We crossed Thunder Creek on the long footbridge about 1.5 miles in.

Driving across Diablo Dam after the hike. The spillway was open, creating a monstrous waterfall.
