Hike 11/27 John Tursi Trail
The hike begins with a short road walk below Mount Erie
The forecast calling for 80% chance of rain was far too pessimistic
Trail passes by a mound covered with new fern fronds
Beautiful forest trail through mostly second growth
Vista looking south toward Pass Lake, our destination.

Pass Lake. This is the lake you drive past on Highway 20 just a short ways before crossing Deception Pass Bridge
So many interesting little details if looked for them along the trail
A small tunnel had been bored into the rock by some long-ago prospector
Trail has some occasionally steep sections that required care
Lots of tiny mushrooms to see
