We DID get to Lake Wenatchee today, and although driving conditions were a bit challenging at times, overall things went really nicely.  We even had some sunshine at LW, and new snow on the trees.  The snow surface was a bit crusty, and my routefinding ability left a little to be desired at times, but everyone (claimed they) had a good time.

Unfortunately, we only had 7 of the 13 that had signed up.  Six people cancelled, mainly on account of the treacherous weather conditions.  I sympathize with them, because in the morning it's so hard to know how it's going to turn out with these storms.  Today we managed fine, and those that went felt very lucky.
